Jocelyn - Owner

I am the founder of Royalty Taxes & Accounting Services, Corp., with 26 years of experience as an accountant and tax preparer. I hold a double major in Crime Scene Investigation and Accounting and am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Fluent in both English and Spanish, with some knowledge of Portuguese, I am also an active member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and stay up to date with the IRS Annual Filing Season Program.

My goal is to make tax filing, bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, solid waste tax, and other related services as easy and stress-free as possible for my clients. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the complexities of the IRS, which can often be overwhelming.

As Proverbs 16:8 (NIV) reminds us, "Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice." This philosophy guides everything I do.

Vanessa - Administrative Assistant

Born and raised in Miami, FL, I moved to Cape Coral in 2011. With a solid background in business administration since 2004, I transitioned into accounting in 2012. Fluent in Spanish, I currently wear many hats at Royalty Taxes, where I assist with everything from business formation services to managing day-to-day operations, human resources, firm accounting, notary services, IT, and staff/client training.

I am passionate about helping businesses run efficiently by ensuring accurate financial records and timely tax filing. I enjoy working closely with business owners to help them evaluate their financial health, identify areas for improvement, and empower them to focus on their strengths while boosting productivity and profitability.

Outside of work, I cherish time spent with my large family—5 children and 4 grandchildren. I love relaxing at the beach, reading, learning, and volunteering in my community. Above all, my greatest purpose is to bring honor to God in everything I do.

Karalee - Office Manager

Hello, my name is Karalee, and I’ve been working in the accounting field for the past seven years. Recently, I’ve joined the Royalty team as the Office Manager, where I’m excited to combine my expertise in accounting with my passion for helping individuals establish and grow their businesses. I take pride in providing efficient support and creative solutions to ensure smooth operations and success for both our team and our clients. Outside of work, I enjoy unwinding with a good book, spending time with my golden retriever, Rocco, and binge-watching my favorite shows

After relocating from New Jersey to Cape Coral, Florida over 20 years ago, I have built a reputation for my dedication to providing personalized, reliable bookkeeping solutions that meet the unique needs of my clients.

I am highly proficient in QuickBooks and offer a full range of bookkeeping and payroll processing to financial reporting and tax preparation support. My attention to detail, combined with a passion for helping clients achieve financial clarity, has earned me the trust of businesses in the local community and beyond.

In 2010, I successfully completed the Cape Coral Leadership Program, a testament to my commitment to community involvement and leadership. This experience has further deepened my understanding of local business dynamics and strengthened my ability to serve my clients with insight and care.

Born and raised in Miami, I bring a warm, local touch to my work, specializing in managing appointments, maintaining accurate records, and providing essential office support. My goal is to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and create a welcoming environment for our clients.

Outside of work, I have a passion for fitness and enjoy working out to stay healthy and energized. When I'm not at the office or at the gym, I cherish my free time with my son, taking care of him and enjoying our moments together.
